A NEW ERA FOR
LOS ANGELES 2026
Meet Ortega ,
A NEW ERA FOR LA
Hello, my name is Misael Ortega I’m 32 years old — raised in Culver City, California, a small town inside a big city.
I’m running to become the youngest Mayor in Los Angeles history.
I come from a blue-collar family. My father worked across Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Bel Air — serving communities with his hands and his heart. Working beside him taught me discipline, sacrifice, and pride in honest work.
I built my own contracting company from the ground up.
When the Palisades fires hit, I stood on the front lines — watching my first job site burn while helping families and workers evacuate.
That moment opened my eyes to how unprepared our city was to protect its people, and it gave me purpose.
That’s when my mission began.
A New Era for Los Angeles
It’s called “A New Era for LA” because I’m bringing a new generation of leadership to City Hall — one with the structure, energy, and vision to compete with states like Texas and Florida.
Our city is on its knees.
If we don’t act now, Los Angeles will lose its power, its influence, and its soul.
We must rebuild it — stronger, fairer, and united.
The Problems We Face
We live in a city where helping the homeless is necessary —
but the working class earning $35,000 a year is still working two jobs just to survive.
The minimum wage doesn’t reflect reality.
Food prices are skyrocketing.
Landlords are exploiting tenants.
That ends with me.
My Promise to Los Angeles
I’m a negotiator — I deal with people every day.
As Mayor, I will end ICE raids in Los Angeles and push for real immigration reform.
The problem isn’t the officers — it’s Congress.
I’ll make sure no one in Los Angeles goes hungry,
and I’ll fight to raise the minimum wage so working people can actually live — not just survive.
I’ll defend women’s health, LGBTQ+ rights, and mental health, because healing this city starts with its people.
My Vision
This isn’t about politics — it’s about rebuilding Los Angeles from the ground up.
This city was once a powerhouse, the dream capital of the world.
It’s time to bring that power back — for the workers, the families, and the next generation.
This is A New Era for Los Angeles. 🇺🇸
